“The Miraculous Mandarin” is a wonderful dance pantomime by Bartok for the stage presentation of Menyhért Lengyel’s ‘Pantomime Grotesque’, the story of which excited him so much that he wrote one of the most important works of the last century. In the first part, the talented Greek-Albanian violinist Jonian Ilias Kadesha interprets two works with strong gypsy references.
